Do Not Split is told through the eyes of some of the young participants who opposed Beijing’s growing control over the semi-autonomous city.
In 35-minutes, the film manages to capture the growing opposition to anti-extradition law demonstrations up till the imposition of draconian national security law in June 2020.
Made by Norwegian filmmaker Anders Hammer Do Not Split has been nominated for an Academy Award in this year’s Oscars which are to be held in April.
