Actor-comedian Kevin James has come up with a great concept for his YouTube channel — him playing a die-hard film technician recording sound on set in several well-known movies.
The execution of it is great. James does an awesome act as the sound guy. And what’s more, it looks as if he is really on set especially as he interrupts one of Mel Gibson’s Braveheart speeches because of aircraft noise or when he is having a shoot-out with Will Smith on I am Legend while trying to do sound exteriors.
“Ha ha ha this is NOT how I remember this scene going down!!” Smith wrote on James’ YouTube page for that episode.
Other movies the sound guy has been in include The Empire Strikes Back, Rocky V, and The Notebook.
