Watch: Ride to Heal

This short film above captures the healing power of friendship and the meditative benefits of motorbike riding. It strikes an emotional chord—especially with men—by touching on themes of mental well-being and the importance of friendship.

Ride to Heal is more than just a film—it’s a heartfelt reminder that, sometimes, the road to recovery is best travelled with others,” the film’s makers, Mojobike, said. “Let this story encourage you to reach out, share your burden, and find solace in the connections that make life’s journey meaningful.”

Clocking in at under five minutes, Ride to Heal is best experienced without us saying too much in advance, apart from noting there’s no dialogue, and the two motorcyclists’ faces remain unseen, but the message is clear. It’s about loss, and how the open road—like surfing, hiking, or any other mindful pursuit—and friendship can help us find a sense of reset.

Life can be heavy, and we all need ways to ground ourselves and keep moving forward. Happy travelling, folks.

Mojobike is a Melbourne-based biker, traveller, and cinematographer.
