Superhero movies reached dizzying heights with British-American director Christopher Nolan’s three-film take on D.C Comic’s Batman.
As seen in the above video Behind the Scenes of The Dark Knight Trilogy we get a 76-minute insight into how Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012) were created. To watch the video, click on the play icon on the left in the feature image.
Most of the substance of the video comes from interviews with the creative types behind the camera such as Noland himself, Nathan Crowley the production designer, and one of the screenwriters David S. Goyer, etc.
It’s light on the voices of actual actors but we get an insight from Noland on how he collaborated with the likes of Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Aaron Eckhart, and Tom Hardy just to name a few.
As one person said in the comments section: “The ‘Behind the Scenes’ is just as epic as the whole series. Period.”
So yeah, it’s certainly worth your time to watch.
All three films were critical successes that also delivered richly for Warner Bros. with The Dark Knight Rises alone grossing over $1.08 billion.
