The 1998 disaster film Deep Impact gets a comedic COVID-19 update in the above clip with Morgan Freeman playing a U.S. president addressing the press during a time of crisis.
But instead of warning the world about an earth-destroying meteorite he’s talking about sending the country into lockdown to suppress the spread of the new coronavirus.

British impressionist Charlie Hopkinson has done a great job in recreating Freeman’s trademark voice.
“[It’s] another impression dub as we all try to stay sane in quarantine,” Hopkinson says on his YouTube page.
“Morgan Freeman … is decreeing no hoarding, toilet paper or otherwise, no funny business. Get busy doing nothing, or get busy doing nothing,” he wrote.
Hopkinson does a range of movie star impressions. Check out another one of his videos below.
