Going by the above trailer there’s plenty of Oscar-winner Tom Hanks and plenty of CGI in the World War II drama Greyhound.
Hanks plays Captain Ernest Krause who commands a U.S. destroyer — USS Keeling (radio code-named ‘Greyhound’) — in a convoy being attacked by Nazi U-boats during the Battle of the Atlantic.

Hanks also wrote the film’s screenplay based on C. S. Forester’s 1955 book The Good Shepheard. It’s Hank’s third produced screenplay.
Inspired by actual events, Greyhound is directed by Aaron Schneider who also has a cinematography background with credits including being the second unit DOP for Titanic.
Greyhound had a June 12, 2020 release date but due to COVID-19, it was put on hold. It’s also no longer getting a theatrical release, it’s going to be screened on Apple TV Plus from July 10.
