Home is a short documentary film with a big soft heart. It is the simple and inspired telling of a house being moved from A to B somewhere in New Zealand’s South Island.
It has been gloriously put together with great dollops of respect for the craft of filmmaking.
Love for the subject is evident in every frame.

Made by Thomas Gleeson, Home has been shown at numerous festivals around the world. It was wonderfully shot by cinematographer Max Bellamy and it is underlined with a life-affirming soundtrack by composer Jack Northover.
It was nominated for Best Short Film at the New Zealand Film Awards in 2012.
