Scores of young Aussies and New Zealanders fought in the quagmire of the Vietnam war.
The 2019 movie Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan depicts how 108 young and mostly inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers fought off an enemy force of 2,500 Viet Cong and North Vietnamese soldiers on Aug. 18, 1966.
