With a ton of pure melody Angèlia Grace sings Hans Zimmer’s haunting Time, a track from Christopher Nolan’s film Inception.

On her website the Moscow-born soprano says her dream is to one day sing for Zimmer.

As for the German composer, he first came to prominence in 1988 when he composed the soundtrack for Rain Man which starred Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman.

Since then he has created or co-created memorable soundtracks for over 150 films such as The Power of One, The Thin Red Line, Gladiator, Man of Steel, Interstellar and The Lion King which won him an Oscar in 1995.

Zimmer has also scored the soundtrack for Nolan’s upcoming World War II epic Dunkirk.

One of his many collaborators has been James Newton Howard who he co-created scores for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (also films by Nolan). In the below video, vocalist Uyanga Bold and the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra do a cover of The Dark Knight.
